Thanks to everyone who tuned in to the June 17 ’08 Colbert Report, including those who switched away from the last quarter of the Celtics championship.
Here’s a direct link to the video.
Is it geo restricting, i.e. are there some who can’t view it because of location? If so we can look for an additional source.

Be sure to post a link that’s viewable to those of us who are blocked from the Comedy Central streaming video!

Hi Jonathan,
I’m sorry to say it, but your point about Estonians being possible bad guys doesn’t really hold water, since KaZaA was build by a Swede and a *Dane*. You know, that other small European country.

Jonathan Holst, you’re forgetting Priit Kasesalu, very much an Estonian. However, as a Dane, I was sorry to see Janus Friis being left out.
Great appearance on The Colbert Report.

Sorry to forget Janus — maybe I can ask for an encore appearance to set the record straight …

Link works in D-land.
Recently found an image of an oldschool humvee painted with a huge skype logo IN Estonia (of all places), so it looks like they may be gearing up to do some damage afterall-

[...] I tried to make Jonathan Zittrain look like as an ignorant jerk, I did that to myself. Apparently, as Andreas Carlsen pointed out to me, there was an Estonian in on KaZaA and Skype, although I am pretty confident he had less to do it [...]

Thanks so much for the great interview on such a public forum as The Colbert Report. People need to know that the future of the new Internet economy depends on its freedom. Your book should be a “must read” for all 535 of our Congress-people.

Congrats Jonathan – that’s one of the most flattering Colbert interviews I’ve seen!
